Starting Next Level in 2020 was part of a natural progression for Sandeep, who has dedicated over 20 years to growing the game of basketball here in the Cowichan Valley. Currently, he is the Head Coach of the Cowichan High School Varsity Basketball Team, and has been part of the coaching team since 2000. He also had a three-year stint as an assistant coach at Malaspina College. Sandeep wanted to start Next Level to help keep our best local players playing in Cowichan. It would be hard to argue that no one in the Cowichan Valley has turned more local athletes on to the sport of basketball than Sandeep, and with Next Level Sandeep aims to get even more young athletes out on the courts.
